This is an amazing dictionary app (and website), that has helped me a lot not only for writing but also for learning new vocabulary and finding multiple ways to express an idea in many languages. I would advise to download it right away!

It works great, assists me in my work immensely. I also enjoy the desktop version of this website, but the apps does a splendid job as well.

I just started my Goethe German courses and I feel the need of a handy german english Dictionary. I downloaded this today and I am quite amazed of how helpful, simple it is, plus, the vest turn on is the absence of Ads. I HOPE IT STAYS LIKE THIS. Das ist perfekt! ❤️

This app is a great way to make word lists (through its history tab) for spaced repetitition. Great integration with iOS 9.

Some bad moments

It fails constantly. It is always in "offline mode" even if Im connected to wifi. Also, you cannot copy a phrase, just the dictionary words, why? It doesnt make any kind of sense. I use the website version every day and I think this is a very good resource for someone who speak three language like me, but honestly, the application is basically unusable. Time to improve it guys. Thanks!

Since I love the Linguee website I decided to try the app, thinking it might provide a smoother mobile experience. What I found was the very opposite. The app erases your search results as soon as you go to another app, so if you need to bounce between this app and another to look up kanji or something the thing you searched for will be gone. Unless this usability oversight gets fixed youre better off using the website. In addition to this, text from search results cant be selected and copied. So if you cant read a kanji in the example sentences, youll need to painstakingly look it up from the radical and stroke order.
