Ive tried most dictionary apps in AppStore, this one is just amazing! Free, full, give examples in real texts.. And integrates with the other apps via Share.. option, so you can select any word and choose Share.. to open this dictionary.
This translator helps enormously to translate words and use them in the right contexts. It shows concrete examples quoting legal and other documents, which helps express oneself naturally, instead of just memorising words unknowing in what cases and with what expressions they are to be used.
Amazing tool, shows not only all forms ands variations, but parallel texts that quickly gives you word usage in real life context..
Amazing app. Sending lots of love from Russia
Really fantastic! Supreme ger-eng eng-ger translator. It can work online or offline mode and has a wide range of terms involving also technical and scientific language. If some words are missing, is able to make a fast research online and find it out. My suggestion? Try it!
I use it for work and I had great results. Its really helpfull. If the developers would consider to make also a german to italian and vice versa dictionary, it would be even more awesome! A good job well done!
Great information that is easy to access. Has really helped with my German.
Super Dictionary, aber ich hoffe Arabisch Support machen.
I have been using the web version for a long time, because of its many in-context examples. Having that now available in an app that allows me to seamlessly move from text to dictionary is a real plus.
So helpful with context!!
Cool app. I love reading translations in context.
This is a great app that gives complete information about a word. So helpful when you are learning a language.
I love this app.
Masterfully translates everything like no other app or dictionary Ive ever seen. In particular, any gray-area translation doubts are immaculately clarified, since it uses multiple contextual examples in actual (brief) snippets from paragraphs pulled from real text in the given languages. It compares them side by side with the same phrases in both languages, highlighted. So you can check multiple examples of native/real-world usage, and how rare or frequent they are. It really demolishes any doubts about how a word is used/understood. Ive never come across anything that remotely approaches how effective and reliable linguee has been for me. Has extensive/ample offline dictionary. Online mode could not be more perfect imo. No I dont work for them, but this is by far ...byyyy faarrrr the best language app I have ever seen. They also have a website which is stellar. 18 stars, cant say enough. And I think it was free.
Each word has several examples in context and usually you can listen to the word (and it isnt one of those awful computer generated voices, its really pronounced clearly). I love it. If there were an audio list of conjugated verbs this would be the only language app Id use! Languages used: French and Spanish.
Very intuitive interface and the contextual real world examples of the searched term is invaluable.
This is one the best apps for learning a language, its also very useful for professional translators.
Its a great version for on the go!
Since I love the Linguee website I decided to try the app, thinking it might provide a smoother mobile experience. What I found was the very opposite. The app erases your search results as soon as you go to another app, so if you need to bounce between this app and another to look up kanji or something the thing you searched for will be gone. Unless this usability oversight gets fixed youre better off using the website. In addition to this, text from search results cant be selected and copied. So if you cant read a kanji in the example sentences, youll need to painstakingly look it up from the radical and stroke order.
